The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC)’s daily basket price stood at USD 63.37 per barrel on Wednesday, compared with previous day’s USD 62.86, according to OPEC Secretariat calculations.
The OPEC Reference Basket of Crudes (ORB), which Angop had access to on its official website, comprises the following: Saharan Blend (Algeria), Girassol (Angola), Djeno (Congo) , Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Rabbi Light (Gabon), Iran Heavy (Islamic Republic of Iran).
The list includes Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), Es Sider (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (United Arab Emirates) and Merey (Venezuela).
Angola has been presiding over the OPEC presidency since the beginning of this year.
Currently, the Crude production levels are around 1.2 million barrels /day.
